“This was an incredible year for LINC and the children and families of New York City. Across the five boroughs, our programs reached 9,920 children and 5,631, our staff distributed 12,000 books and coordinated nearly 1000 literacy workshops. These feats would not have been possible without The Foundation’s generous donations.”
-Literacy NYC
“We have used this generous donation for our Weekend Food Backpack program. Staten Island Giving Circle started this project and have been filing and distributing ten food backpacks to underprivileged students at P.S. 74 through this school year. The project has been an overwhelming success and has generated a lot of interest with other schools seeing the same food deprivation problems.”
-SIGC
