If you noticed a new addition near the entrance of the Hampton Inn & Suites in Bloomfield, you observed correctly.
As a way to celebrate the history of the West Shore’s equestrian history and the expansion of the Hampton Hotels & Suites, hoteliers Lois and Richard Nicotra added a stagecoach.
Nearly three years ago, when the husband and wife team met with their friend, John Franzreb III, who died in May at age 79, they expressed an interest in celebrating and preserving the history of the West Shore Stables, once located on the site of the Nicotras’ Hampton Inn & Suites.
